Surf Fishing In Duck

Surf Fishing: Today has been the best day of beach fishing we have had in a long time. Lots of blues, spot, croaker, sea mullet, black drum and speckle trout. Everyone who is coming in the store are talking about how good fishing is today. Piers are catching lots of spanish and blues. A few king mackerel are showing up as well. High Tide is at 9:47pm with calm conditions. Half day charters so far today have been limiting out on blues and spanish. Very good fishing. Weather is predicted to be good this week and hopefully the great fishing will continue as well.

Duck Surf:

Good numbers of small bluefish and seamullet.

Fishing Piers:

Bluefish and seamullet. The blues on gotcha plugs and the seamullet on fresh shrimp or bloodworms.

Water Temp: 58 Degrees

High Tide : 6:10pm

Half Day Charters: Blues a few spanish mackerel and flounder.

Offshore Charters: Good numbers of tuna and dolphin.

Fishing Report May 5

Surf fishing in Duck today has been good with reports of seamullet, bluefish, and some speckle trout.  Use Bloodworms, Cut Mullet, and small Lead Heads with gulp or twister tails. High Tide is 9:11pm and the water temp. is in the low 60′s.

Fishing Report April 29

Today on the beach most folks are reporting spot, croaker, and seamullet using small pieces of bloodworms and clams. The water temperature is 50 degrees and High Tide is 5:52pm today.
