Outer Banks Surf Fishing Report May, 1 2012

We have been catching sea mullet, skates, and bluefish. Our offshore charters are getting good numbers of tuna and dolphin. Inshore charters we are catching bluefish, and tautog. Next High tide is at 3:46pm and low will be at 9:44pm.

Surf Fishing has been great again this past week with lots of spot, croaker, and bigger sea mullet on bloodworms. Still catching lots of blues on small lures mornings and evenings. Flounder fishing has been excellent dragging gulp baits slow on the bottom. Next High tide is 11:00pm. Water temp is 77 degrees. Our Full Day charters has been getting good numbers of dolphin, tuna and white marlin. Our half day charters have been getting lots of blues, spanish, triggers, and a few dolphin.
