Bobs Bait And Tackle Outer Banks Fishing Report 6/20/2018

Surf fishing on the Outer Banks today we have heard of sea mullet, flounder, black drum, bluefish, and catching mackerel. The mackerel and bluefish have mainly been caught on jig fish. Our inshore charters are doing great with mackerel, bluefish, and a few large red drum. Our sound charters are catching lots of bottom fish, flounder, and some red drum. Our offshore charters yesterday did really good with lots of mahi, tuna, and billfish. Water temp is 84 degrees. Winds are ESE at 6 knots. Here is a picture of the drum I caught on mullet in the surf in Duck on Saturday June 9th. I dropped in on Saturday to show a picture to the guys working there. He was about 28-29 inches and was released.

Thanks,
