Bobs Bait And Tackle Outer Banks Fishing Report 11/13/2017

Thursday was our best fishing day. We were in carova beach. Your shop was the best shop in the northern outer banks.

Our best fishing day was Thursday. We caught 12 red drum over 24 inches, and 3 under 17. Also we caught several black drum and a few trout that were over 20 inches.

Yesterday, we caught 2 red drum that were 26 inches. It was very windy! Sadly, today we are back in Raleigh.

Hey fellas,

My son and I stopped by there on Tuesday. We picked up some mullet and worms and headed to the beach. We caught a variety of fish… croaker, whiting, sheeps head, bluefish and some spotted sea trout. Wednesday I caught a great surprise. It was a 25 1/4 inch Red Drum. About an hour after low tide using mullet.
Thanks for the tips!

Brad & Cassandra from Pennsylvania have been catching and releasing healthy drum on light tackle all week using a combination of Bob’s fresh mullet and grass shrimp fished on drum rigs – rigging supplies and bait both purchased from Bob’s and of highest quality (as usual). Thanks so much for remaining a staple in our yearly trip to Duck for the fall red drum bite!

Thank you so much to John for his super friendly personality. He is above and beyond courteous and helpful. I caught a 16-inch spotted sea trout. But my best prize for the day was this 25 inch Red Drum that I caught surf casting in Duck using Fresh Finger Mullet from Bob’s Bait & Tackle.

   Thanks again, Michelle
