On the beach today along the Outer Banks fishing has been good with catches of sea mullet, speckled trout, black drum, bluefish, pompano, and bottom fish. Water temp 79 degrees. Winds ESE 8 knots. On our sound light tackle charters we are getting lots of red drum, speckled trout, flounder, and sheepshead.

On the surf we are getting spot, kingfish, flounder, and good number of bluefish. Water temp in Duck is 75 degrees. Winds are ESE at 10 knots. The piers Avalon, Nags Head, and Jennett’s pier are reporting about the same. Red drum that was released on the surf in Duck.
Along the beach in Corolla, Duck, Kitty Hawk, and Nags Head we are catching flounder, spot, croaker, kingfish, and black drum. Best baits are fresh mullet, fresh shrimp, and bloodworms. Gulp baits have been working for flounder. Water temp in Duck is 66 degrees. Next high tide is at 1:24pm. Winds are NNE 4 knots. Our fishing charters are also doing well.
