Surf fishing on the Outer Banks today we have heard of sea mullet, flounder, black drum, bluefish, and catching mackerel. The mackerel and bluefish have mainly been caught on jig fish. Our inshore charters are doing great with mackerel, bluefish, and a few large red drum. Our sound charters are catching lots of bottom fish, flounder, and some red drum. Our offshore charters yesterday did really good with lots of mahi, tuna, and billfish. Water temp is 84 degrees. Winds are ESE at 6 knots. Fishing on the Outer Banks today has been good with reports of sea mullet, bluefish, flounder, croaker, and black drum. Best baits have been bloodworms, shrimp, mullet, and gulp baits. On the Surf today along the Outer Banks we have been catching puppy drum, blues, sea mullet, and black drum. Water temp in Duck is 77 degrees. Winds are WSW at 11 knots. These flounder were caught on one of our sound light tackle charters recently.
Here is a picture of the drum I caught on mullet in the surf in Duck on Saturday June 9th. I dropped in on Saturday to show a picture to the guys working there. He was about 28-29 inches and was released.
Outer Banks fishing: Fishing on the Outer Banks has been great yesterday and today we have had a lot of red drum caught especially in Duck and Corolla. We are also getting plenty of bottom fish, and flounder. All our charters have been doing great as well. Water temp is 74 degrees. Turner with a keeper red drum.

Outer Banks Fishing Report 6/7/2018:
Corolla, Duck, Kitty Hawk, Nags Head Surf fishing: Today we are getting kingfish, flounder, bluefish, croakers, and good size black drum. Best baits have been bloodworms, shrimp, and mullet. Water temp is 79 degrees. Winds are ENE at 10 knots.
Our Charter Fishing Trips: Trips today are doing well sound and sportsman are getting kingfish, flounder, bluefish, mackerel, and some cobia. Our regular half day trips are getting bluefish, mackerel, and few cobia. Our offshore charters are catching lots of tuna and mahi.

Bobs Bait And Tackle fishing charters on the Outer Banks: Our sound and sportsman trips have been getting some bottom fish, bluefish, flounder, few puppy drum and cobia. Our half day ocean trips have been getting bluefish, mackerel, and some cobia. Our offshore charters are catching mahi, tuna, and some blue marlin. Cobia and mackerel caught on sound barrier.

Outer Banks fishing report 5/30/2018:
Surf fishing from Corolla to Oregon Inlet we have caught lots of real nice kingfish, some keeper flounder, croakers, skate, and bluefish. Shrimp, bloodworms, ez fleas, and mullet have been working best. Holding bottom 2-3 ounces. Water temp is 75 degrees. Winds are SSE 8 knots. Our offshore charters caught mahi, and tuna today. Sound light tackle boats today caught lots of good size bottom fish and drum. Our inshore boats caught bluefish and few cobia. Dudly caught this big black drum today.
All up and down the Outer Banks today we are catching sea mullet, skate, and a few black drum on the surf. Water temp 67 degrees. Winds are N at 3 knots. Our fishing charters made it out today and had some good catches. William caught this puppy drum in Duck a few days ago.
Water temp. on the surf has dropped down to 59 degrees. There has been plenty of sea mullet, croakers, and skate caught today on the beach and piers. Our fishing charters today on the Outer Banks had some great catches as well. Mark with a good size black drum caught on his surf fishing clinic.

On the beach today from Corolla to Hatteras we have seen lots of nice size sea mullet, bluefish, black drum, and some keeper flounder. Water temp in Duck is 66 degrees. Winds are NNW at 12 knots. Jeff Thompson caught this nice black drum in Duck surf in May.
Bobs Bait And Tackle Outer Banks Charters have been doing great here lately. On our sound light tackle trips we are getting lots of kingfish, trout, bluefish, and flounder. Our sportsman half days are getting some really nice cobia, red drum, and bluefish. Our half day and extended day trips are also getting some cobia, bluefish, and mackerel. Our full day gulfstream charters are getting lots of big mahi, tuna, and few billfish.

Its been slow the past couple days but hopefully with these warm temps things will improve. In Hatteras the fishing has been great with big bluefish, drum, spot, and sea mullet.
