Today along the Outer Banks we have been catching good numbers of spot, croaker, and sea mullet, with an occasional bluefish and flounder. Conditions are calm. Best baits have been bloodworms and fresh shrimp. Picture of a good catch of flounder on one of our sportsman charter trips.

Fishing along the beach today has been excellent from Corolla, Kitty Hawk, to Nags Head south we have had reports of spanish mackerel and bluefish being caught on gold spoons and jig fish from the beach. We are also getting plenty of spot, croaker, and sea mullet on bloodworms and fresh shrimp. Gulp baits and bucktails are working good for flounder. The warm water has also brought in pompano. Water temp in Duck today is 76 degrees. Winds are SSE at 10 knots. Conditions are calm. Next high tide is at 4;54 pm. Should be good fishing this evening. Fishing on the beach in Duck and Corolla today has improved with reports of spot, croaker, sea mullet, and bluefish. Water temp is 67 degrees. North wind at 10 knots. Mr Fowler caught and released this little cobia on the surf the other day.

Outer Banks surf fishing report: Today we are getting reports of sea mullet, spot, and bluefish. Water temp in Duck and Corolla is 64 degrees. Winds are WSW at 15-20. Seas are calm. Next high tide is at 10:46 pm. Jim Brunken, caught this hound fish off the surf few days ago.

Fishing along the Outer Banks has been really good. Lots of blues, mackerel, spot, flounder, and some speckled trout. Our sportsman OBX charters are doing great with lots of big trout, flounder, and big red drum. Nearshore fishing charters we are catching lots of bluefish, mackerel, and ribbon fish.
