Bobs Bait And Tackle Outer Banks Fishing Report 5/3/2019
Outer Banks fishing report the past couple of days has been excellent. We have had reports of big croakers, lots of bluefish, and sea mullet, speckled trout, and puffers. Water temp is 56 degrees. Winds are WSW at 8 knots. Next high tide today in Duck, NC will be at 6:35 pm. The bluefish have been so thick that we have been catching them on artificial lures. Outer Banks charter fishing, our inshore and nearshore trips have been getting a lot of bluefish, mackerel, albacore, and some cobia in the mix. Our deep water offshore charters are still getting a lot of tuna, and some mahi. Overall fishing along the OBX from Corolla to Hatteras is excellent.
Outer Banks Fishing Report 5/1/2019
Yesterday fishing on the Outer Banks was very good with reports of speckled trout, bluefish, sea mullet, black drum, and croakers. Water temp in Duck is 58 degrees. From Avalon to Outer Banks pier there have been a lot of large trout caught. Our offshore fishing charters today caught lots of tuna, some mahi, and few wahoo. Our half day fishing trips out of oregon inlet caught speckled trout, bluefish, and some red drum. Bobs surf fishing clinic hosted by Mark caught bluefish and bottom fish.

Fishing along the Outer Banks has been really good lately with good numbers of trout, larger bluefish, sea mullet, croakers, and black drum. Water temp in Duck is in the low 60’s. Charter fishing on the Outer Banks was pretty good yesterday. Our nearshore boats caught lots of bluefish. On our sportsman charters we caught speckled trout and few red drum. Our OBX offshore fishing charter boats caught yellowfin tuna again.

In Duck and Corolla today we have had reports of puffers, dogfish, sea mullet, trout, and some bigger size bluefish. Water temp in Duck is 55 degrees. Next high tide is at 9:42 pm. Winds are from the North at 11 knots. Seas are fairly calm today. Down south a bit in Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head there has been more trout and few drum. Our fishing charters out of Oregon Inlet we offer have been doing very well.

Outer Banks Fishing Report 4/17/2019
Fishing along the Outer Banks has been pretty good the past couple days. Surf fishing in Corolla and Duck we have had reports of sea mullet, puffers, bluefish, and a handful of small trout. South of Nags Head and Oregon Inlet fishermen have been catching red drum, trout, puffers, and a lot of sea mullet. Water temp along the OBX this morning is around 50 degrees. Winds are WSW at 15 knots. Next high tide will be at 5:54pm in Duck NC. Bob’s Bait And Tackle OBX Beach Fishing Report 4/13/2019
Water temp today from Duck to Nags Head is around 50-52 degrees. Winds are South at 15 knots. High tide in Duck is at 1:42 pm today. The past couple days we have been catching lots of puffers and sea mullet with an occasional bluefish. Around Oregon Inlet to Hatteras there has been more bluefish, trout, and bigger red drum.
Duck, Corolla, OBX Surf Fishing Report 4/9/2019
With these warm temperatures we are hearing of more and more fish being caught on the north beaches in Duck, Corolla, and Carova. Puffer fish, some smaller bluefish, dogfish, and just a few sea mullet. Bloodworms and mullet have been the best baits to use. Water temp in Duck is 55 degrees. Next high tide is at 10:15 pm. Winds are SW at 6 knots. Crabbing in the sound has picked up as well.
