Water temp today from Duck to Nags Head is around 50-52 degrees. Winds are South at 15 knots. High tide in Duck is at 1:42 pm today. The past couple days we have been catching lots of puffers and sea mullet with an occasional bluefish. Around Oregon Inlet to Hatteras there has been more bluefish, trout, and bigger red drum.

Duck, Corolla, OBX Surf Fishing Report 4/9/2019
With these warm temperatures we are hearing of more and more fish being caught on the north beaches in Duck, Corolla, and Carova. Puffer fish, some smaller bluefish, dogfish, and just a few sea mullet. Bloodworms and mullet have been the best baits to use. Water temp in Duck is 55 degrees. Next high tide is at 10:15 pm. Winds are SW at 6 knots. Crabbing in the sound has picked up as well.
OBX Fishing Report Bobs Bait And Tackle 4-4-2019
We have some good weather conditions ahead for the Outer Banks, so surf fishing should improve a lot. There has been some bigger bluefish and sea mullet around Avon and Hatteras surf. Here in Duck and Corolla fishing has picked up today with sea mullet, puffers, dogfish, and few skate. Water temp is 52 degrees in Duck and Kitty Hawk. Winds are North at 9 knots. Next high tide at Duck pier will be at 7:00 pm. We have mullet and live bloodworms in stock, which is probably been working the best as far as using bait. We are open 7:00 am till 6:00 pm 7 days a week right now. Hours will extend as season comes closer.
